These are plumbers who'll install your natural gas appliances, and the pipes you'll need to run them from the gas meter.
Some gasfitters can also lodge a connection request for you.
We'll send an installer to your home to choose a suitable position for the gas meter.
If you have a preferred meter location, you can tell your meter installer on the day, or just inform your builder beforehand.
At this stage, and in no particular order, your gas pipes and appliances will be installed.
Be sure have accurate house plans at hand - a gas contractor may need to know of anything that could get in the way of pipes before digging begins.
Ask your gas fitter how long installation will take. You may be without gas for a couple of days, and prefer to stay somewhere else.
We'll send someone to install your meter, after confirming everything is working safely.
This is the supplier that provides gas to your home and sends the bills for your usage, so you'll need to set up an account. We can help you find a retailer.
Whether it's for cooking, heating or hot water, you'll naturally enjoy your new home, thanks to gas
It's worth asking your gas fitter where to turn the gas on and off. And knowing who to call in case of an outage, leak or emergency.
